Teaching and Scholarly Interests

Professor Paul is especially interested in Chinese linguistics, psycholinguistic perspectives on second language acquisition, evolution of human Language, and second language pedagogy. She enjoys working with first- and second-language speakers of various backgrounds, including both normal hearing and the deaf.
